Sunday Services: 9am Traditional | 11:15am Contemporary | 10am Sunday School

The St. Matthew’s Tweens are fourth, fifth and sixth graders who have fun while serving, learning, and working together.  The group meets every other Sunday evening during the school year.  The Tweens have walked the labyrinth, raised money for a child’s medical expenses, and studied Tweens in the Bible.  At Thanksgiving, we help fill baskets of food for the needy.  Tweens also prepare Christian puppet shows and participate in other outings.  While being a Tween is fun, all of our activities strengthen the boys’ and girls’ relationship with Jesus.

Group leader is Dave Sanders(504/756-7558)

The Tween's Sunday School Lesson if from the Cokesbury's Methodist Curriculum.

The Middlers - Next Generation Saints

The 7th and 8th grade Middler group of students are the bridge between the Tweens (4th-6th grade) and the Youth (9th-12th grade).  As they mature in their faith and relationship with Jesus, they are also learning to share that faith with others.  They have a heart for serving the elderly and caring for animals at the SPCA.  So come and join us during the school year for fun, food, ministry planning and action.

 Senior Youth

Youth is a great way for teens in 9th-12th grade to get together and share some fun, food and fellowship. We always enjoy a meal together, play games and occasionally join in with a discussion based on real life teen issues. We also offer mission trips for the kids to unite together as a group to help out on community projects.
