*Children (0-9 yrs)

St. Matthew's takes very seriously the commitment to see that all children know the love of Jesus! We feel that children are a blessing to our church. The children play an active role in our church prayer life, mission activity, and they even do an entire church service on the Children's Sabbath celebration in the fall. We would love to have you join our St. Matthew's family on Sunday morning and let your children walk with Jesus!

**Weekly Activities**
Sunday
9:00am - Noon	Little Lambs Quality childcare is available for our young children during both services and also during the Sunday School hour.	Newborn - Toddler
10:00am	Preschool I This class offers more of a structured approach to the Bible lessons. Children do crafts, sing, and hear Bible stories each week from our Cokesbury curriculum.
10:00am	Preschool II This class is more child directed in activity. We still have songs and a craft each week, but there is alot more activity. Children as young as 18 months are a part of this program!
10:00am	Lower Elementary Cokesbury Curriculum is offered along with a fellowship for church family as they begin to experience daily Christian living.
10:00am	Upper Elementary Cokesbury Curriculum is offered as the children begin to seriously study the Bible and the stories that it offers. They now begin to fully grasp the love Christ and what that means in their life!
Both Sunday Services	Children's Church During both services, children are offered a Children's Sermon at the altar. Children ages two through third grade are invited for a a time of Children's Church. Each week, a different set of volunteers offer a Bible lesson, along with music, craft, prayer, and, of course, food! They then return to worship at the end of the hour. Don't be surprised if you see our children dancing in the aisles with friends at our Contemporary Worship, as they offer praise in a joyful manner!	2 yrs - First grade
4:30 - 6:30pm	Children's Bible Club (CBC)	Pre K - 3rd grade
During CBC	Children's Choir	12 yrs & under
4:30 - 6:30pm	Tween Time	4th- 6th grade
